Established in 1954 in Hong Kong, Luxembourg Medicine has for decades provided relief to millions with its star products like Madame Pearl’s Cough Syrup and Madame Pearl’s Cough Syrup for Children. Never one to rest on its laurels, the company has also ventured into overseas markets with new and improved products.

The formula for Madame Pearl’s Cough Syrup was created by German-born pharmacist Madam Pearl and her medical doctor husband. When Luxembourg Medicine obtained the formula, it made refinements and improvements on the original and patented the result as Madame Pearl’s Cough Syrup.

After more than half a century, Luxembourg Medicine has expanded its marketing network to cover Hong Kong, Mainland China and the US Winner of many local and international accolades; the excellent quality of Luxembourg Medicine’s products is never in doubt.

Luxembourg Medicine has moved into the ethical drugs market in 2007 with the launch of Madame Pearls Mucolytic products in hospital and private clinics. This is followed by continued investments in developing more professional products to maintain the brand position of Madame Pearl’s as the “Respirator Specialist”.
