Wang On Group Limited ("Wang On Group") is principally engaged in property development and investment, the management and sub-licensing of wet market, the management of agricultural by-products wholesale market and pharmaceutical business.

The Group was founded by Mr Tang Ching Ho and Ms Tang Yau Yuk Yin in 1987. Wang On Group was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 1995, reaching a milestone in its business development.

In 1996, the Group further diversified and expanded its business into the sub-licensing and management of Chinese wet markets and the management of properties. The Group is also involved in property development and investment.

In the beginning of the 21st century, the Group successfully tapped into the lucrative pharmaceutical business to enlarge its earnings base. Within a few years, the Group has made positive investments in two household brand names for pharmaceutical products, namely Wai Yuen Tong and Madame Pearl's.

In 2004, the Group extended its successful and outstanding management skill to agricultural by-products wholesale market business. By upgrading the control and management of the agricultural by-products wholesale market, the Group has established its presence in different area in a short period of time.

Now, the Group places emphasis on scientific management by focusing on its core businesses, and exploring new business opportunities in order to build itself a more diversified and internationalized enterprise.
