職責

  • Solid banking and finance experiences, particularly under types 1, 4, 6 and 9 licences for regulated activities under Securities and Futures Ordinance including funds and asset management, pre-IPO and fund raising arrangements; 
  • Conversant with private fund set up, handling of regulators’ investigations and the money lending ordinance related matters
  • Prepare and review legal documentations and correspondences with business counterparts;
  • Monitor proposed or newly enacted policy, laws, regulations and on-going compliance issues that will impact the business, activities and operations and devise and advise on and implement necessary compliance programmes
  • Provide legal support in contentious matters including the coordination of collecting background information and evidential materials; and
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties and manage external lawyers as required
  • Provide legal advices on handling external inquiries

條件

  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Member of the Law Society of Hong Kong
  • Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in private practice or as in-house legal counsel
  • Knowledge in Retail and Financial Service industry & familiar with the companies ordinance
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
  • Mature with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to details and ability to work under pressure; and
  • Good written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills (Mandarin is a plus)
